China Elite Travel began with a single question. After years of guiding American visitors and friends across China, our founders kept hearing the same thing from their parents and friends back home in California. The trip sounded wonderful, but the planning was exhausting. The flights, the language, the hotels, the medical appointments. Local knowledge was also essential to ensure the quality of the trip, they had gotten to experience China firsthand from the perspective of locals who have lived there all their lives. Demand started growing until it became clear that there was a need for a dedicated travel agency to handle the requests.
So, a small team in Beijing started doing exactly that. We have served many happy customers since then and recently opened a team based in the US to serve the West Coast directly. Same philosophy. Same standards. Same trusted advisors picking up the phone.
Today we host a small number of private journeys each year, kept that way by design. Wellness journeys, cultural tours, family milestones, post-procedure recovery, and the occasional honeymoon. Every itinerary is private, every guest is paired with a senior advisor, and every trip is built from scratch around the people travelling.
We do not work with online booking agents or third-party tour operators. We do not take commissions from hotels. We answer our own phones, and the majority of our team is born and lives in China, with frequent visits to personally ensure every property we recommend is of the highest quality and consistency.
